• Singers in the Band

  Filmed partially with a hidden camera, this story follows young women who are trafficked from the Philippines to South Korea under the guise of employment as singers in night clubs. Upon their arrival, some are forced into prostitution and almost all never work as actual singers. These night clubs rely exclusively on U.S. military patronage.

• Weightless

  Weightless is a documentary short film about a group of plus-size women living an action-filled life, despite social stereotypes that continually tell them they should behave differently. This clip is of the group’s first open water dive in Hawaii.

• Laws of Consequence

  This documentary follows three youths living in the town of Kyle, South Dakota, where they embark on political activism in an effort to become more involved in their community and connect to their Lakota roots.

  This scene unfolds with two main characters participating in a rally on their reservation.
